"Antharbhaava Foundation supported by Padhai organised a Baking training program as a part of skill development for their employees/ trainees. Eight candidates were chosen to undergo the training. This training was in partnership with Good Measure Foundation. The trainer was Ms. Madhu founder of Good Measure Foundation. Ms Madhu is an ex restaurateur, and psychology graduate with experience in training and grooming women from the underprivileged sector, persons with disabilities and neurodiverse individuals. She has conducted several programs under the Good Measure Foundation and has enabled/empowered homebakers to become entrepreneurs. It was decided that the program would be for 15 sessions spread over 30 days. Different recipes were selected and executed according to the timetable set by Ms Madhu. She very methodically made everyone participate in the entire process. Since most of them can take single commands only, the job was broken down into multiple steps. By repetition, they learned the entire process. Though a written recipe for each product was given, only two out of the eight trainees were able to follow written recipes. One of the candidates had every recipe in his memory and would come up with a flawless recipe out of memory. This capability was a revelation to all of us."
